Caljan Rite-Hite Keeps its Cool
Turners (Soham) Limited is one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK, specialising in temperature-controlled transport. Turner's currently operates around 600 heavy goods vehicles from nine depots in the UK. At 150,000 cubic metres and holding 40,000 pallets, this latest development at Turners is the largest to date and the 5th at their site in Newmarket. Caljan Rite-Hite was chosen as the supplier of fourteen dock levellers, ISO Tek doors and an Eliminator GapMaster system following a successful installation at another of the company's cold stores.
In addition to the dock levellers and dock seal, Turners also purchased eleven ISO Tek doors from Caljan Rite-Hite. These are specially designed for cold store usage, providing high speed and superior sealing. The doors boast an opening speed of 84" per second, and provide effective insulation. Available as two or four panel systems, the doors reduce maintenance and energy consumption and increase productivity.
